Brief
After 5 years of existence, IOMA decided to launch their e-commerce site.
The strength of the brand is being able to offer a total skin analysis using ultra sophisticated machines, equipped with probes also used in space travel. Each diagnostic is accompanied with unique and personalised recommendations to bring every client’s skin to its best potential.
How can we prolong the brand experience to the internet where the machines are not available?
More informative, easier to understand, with a more prestigious look, the IOMA website has been completely redone. @BusinessWireFR

Idea
We created a complete e-commerce site. To launch it, we had to put in place the development of ergonomics by way of logistics, bank transactions, managing user profiles, referencing, analytics and conversion.
UX / Design
The aim of this new site was to come away from the ‘engineer’ like feel of the old site.
We opted for a luxury interface whilst keeping the some technological touches, true to the brand’s DNA. We also put in place the best e-commerce practises to assure web users that their online transactions are safe, secure and efficient.
Code
After having analysed the brand’s needs and their catalogue, we made a collaborative decision with OPSONE, to work on a solution based on Woocommerce (WordPress’s e-commerce solution).
Less comprehensive than Magento, but a lot less heavy and easier to get along with for custom developments, we were able to develop modules that are very specific to IOMA, in particular to manage their flagship product – MA CRÈME.
